Our Story

LegalBase International was founded in 1998 by a small group of lawyers who believed clients deserved counsel that crossed borders as easily as their businesses did. What began as a London disputes practice now spans four offices and twelve practice areas.

We grew deliberately — adding lawyers and capabilities only where we could be genuinely excellent. Today we advise multinationals, financial institutions, founders, families, and non-profits, but we have never lost the close, partner-led service of our earliest years.

Every matter is led by a senior lawyer who stays accountable from first call to final resolution.

1998

Founded in London as a specialist disputes practice.

2006

Opened Nairobi office; built our cross-border corporate practice.

2015

Singapore launch extends reach across Asia-Pacific.

2026

Dubai office opens, completing our four-hub network.
